How to use these numbers

1

Set your minimum price

Your break-even price is your floor. Never go below it. If a job can't cover your true truck roll cost, you shouldn't be doing it.

2

Factor in job duration

Add labor hours to the truck roll cost. A 30-minute repair at $45/hr loaded adds $22.50. A 2-hour job adds $90. Price accordingly.

3

Update quarterly

Fuel costs change. Insurance goes up. Labor rates need adjusting. Run the calculator once a quarter to make sure your prices are current.
